About Us

Resting in our Faith wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation, believing in the teachings and practices of the word of God as we understand them and in the great distinctive principles for which the Baptist Denomination stands, we, therefore, bind ourselves together as a body of immersed believers in Jesus Christ and adopt for our Government, plan of worship, and service, the following articles:

Purpose

The purpose of this organization shall be:

  1. To glorify god – Romans 15: 6 – 9, Ephesians 1:5, 6, 12, 14, 18; Ephesians 3: 21, II Tessalonians 1:12.
  2. To edify itself – Romans 14: 19, Ephesians 4: 11 – 16, Col. 2:2, Jude 20:21.
  3. To purify itself – II Cor. 6:14 – 18, II Cor. 7:1, Eph. 5:27, Tit. 11:15.
  4. To educate its constituency – Eph. 4:11, 12. Co. 2:7.
  5. To evangelize our community and the world – Matt. 28:19, Acts 1:8
  6. To act as a restraining and enlightening force in the community and world. Matt. 5:13 – 16.

Authority

The Primary authority by which this church exists as an Ecclesistical body is received from the Holy Scriptures, and in all matters of faith and practice acknowledges no other. It is the purpose of this church to cooperate with other evangelical churches for missionary and evangelistic enterprises.

The secondary authority is by the Laws of the country of Belize, under which the church incorporated.

Government

The Government of this Church under Christ as its Head is vested in its members and is not subject to any outside authority whatsoever.
