Dismissal
A. Letters of Transfer, for the purpose of uniting with some other Baptist Church of like faith and order, shall be granted only to members in good and regular standing, upon request from a church of like faith and order request having been considered by the Board of Deacons and approved by vote of the church. All such letters shall be addressed to a specific church and shall be valid for six months from the date of issue.
B. If any exclusion of this Church be opposed to any of the Bible Doctrine s accepted and practiced by this Church and use his or her influence contrary to the best interests of the church, or shall be found walking disorderly, he or she may be excluded for Spiritual reasons. All such cases shall first be investigated by the Board of Deacons and the Pastor who shall give such members due hearing, and shall then make recommendationto the body of the Church, provided also, that the steps pointed out by the Master in Chapter 18 of Matthew shall always be strictly followed to secure reconciliations and forgiveness, if possible, before the church tkes action. A majority vote, by ballot, of all members present at a meeting called for this purpose shall be necessary for such exclusion. (Galatians 6:1)
C. The dismissal of members whose whereabouts remain unknown for a period of one year, or who have willfully neglected their attendance, duties nd obligations for that length of time shall be dropped from the Church Membership Roll by a majority vote of the church. The Deacons, the Deaconesses, and the Pastor shall give special considertion to this list during the year and make every effort possible to restore those people in their fellowship with our Lord and with our fellowdhip.
