Duties of Members
A. Church Membership because of its high principles and great
responsibilities is never to be entered into lightly or hastily. It
requires complete allegiance to the Bible, the Word of God, Faithfulness
in all spiritual duties essential to the Christian Life, regular
partaking of the Lord's Supper, loyalty to the Church, regular
attendance at its services and whole-hearted support of the church and
its missionary program by our Tithes and offerings. Church membership
should be one of the most solemn and sacred attachments of life.
Everyone desiring it is urged to consider it most carefully and
prayerfully.
B. Any member who feels a dissatisfaction with the general procedure
of any department of church life shall make his case known to the Pastor
and Board of Deacons; otherwise such dissatisfaction should not be
voiced among the membership keeping in mind the Scriptural injunction of
Romans 14:19, "Follow after the things which make for peace".
